Providing Safe & Secure Housing for St. Johns County Homeless Children and Their Parents

The ESHC housing campus has 18 single family homes available for homeless families with minor children living in the household.

The 5 acre campus located in West Augustine includes a children learning center, computer room, laundry facility, food pantry, playground, and storage facilities for donated items.

ESHC relies on the goodwill of volunteers from local organizations and the faith-based community to help with landscaping, home cleaning and maintenance.

All the furniture, household items, toys in our homes are donated from the community. This generosity is essential to our program since most of our homeless families come to ESHC with just the clothes they’re wearing.

Many times, organizations will adopt a house as their own, providing the materials and resources to create a warm, safe and secure environment for our homeless families.

Our Mission

The mission of ESHC of St. Johns County, Inc. is to truly make a difference in the lives of homeless children & their families by providing the opportunity for them to remain intact, stabilize their lives, save towards affordable permanent housing and break the cycle of homelessness.
